DEP Investing $1.8 Million in Troy Headquarters

Detroit Engineered Products (DEP), is an engineering solutions and product development company. The company will be investing $1.8 million in its Troy headquarters, located at 850 East Long Lake Road, and adding 91 high paying jobs over the next three years. The Michigan Economic Development Corporation is providing a performance-based incentive grant to the project.

DEP Announces Release of New Software

DEP, with global locations in 6 countries, is excited to announce the engineering software release of “MeshWorks 8.0”. This release creates the #1 suite for: CAE Meshing, CAD/CAE Morphing, Design Optimization, Lightweighting, and CAE Process Automation on a single dynamic platform. MeshWorks is used by global OEMs and Suppliers in all industries for advanced Design, Engineering, and significantly reduces CAE Simulation time. We are an American Corporation with 400+ global team members supporting both Commercial and Defense/ITAR product development. DEP is also a certified MBE and AS 9100 Aerospace certified.

DEP provides “MeshWorks” licenses (including free training and no-risk trials) to our Customers as well as “Software as a Service” in tandem with our Design, Engineering, and FEA/CAE/CFD support. DEP’s global staff have completed over 700 optimization projects for Weight Reduction, Safety, Fluid Dynamics, Durability, Stress, NVH, and Thermal Analysis. DEP is also known for our: 1) Engine Ion Sensor (increased fuel economy, reduced emissions, and enables the use of multiple fuel types including bio-fuels), 2) Reverse Engineering and Competitive Benchmarking (including Scanning and 3-D Printing), 3) Staffing/Recruiting/ Contracting Services, and 4) Project Outsourcing capabilities and global support.
